We carry two blade tiers on purpose. Not so we can discount, but so the recommendation fits the job rather than the margin.
You are cutting mild or carbon steel in volume, the surface gets machined afterwards anyway, and blade spend is a line on the P&L you actually look at.
Cut finish matters, the material is stainless or harder, sections are large, or a blade change costs you more in stopped production than the blade costs to buy.
