Most of the machines we look after came from somebody else. That has been true since 2012 and it is the part of this business we are proudest of. We service Taiwanese-made bandsaws, whoever sold them.
Scope
Fourteen years of Cosen and YCM means we know how Taiwanese machines are built — the hydraulics, the guides, the controls, where they wear. That knowledge does not transfer to a German or Japanese machine, so we do not pretend it does.
Installation, levelling, blade tensioning and operator handover. Then scheduled guide, gearbox, coolant and tension checks. Every visit logged against the machine serial, so wear shows up as a pattern rather than a surprise.
A saw that stops holds up everything behind it. Islandwide across Singapore, with common wear parts carried to site. Tell us the make, model and what it is doing — that usually decides whether the part comes with us.
Coil stock welded to your machine’s exact length. Resharpening returns a blade to specification rather than merely to sharp — and tells us what your machine is actually doing to its blades.
What we need
Not a service contract, not an account. Just enough to know what we are looking at before we get in the van.
Even if it is a manufacturer we have never distributed. If it is Taiwanese-made, the chances are good.
Usually on a plate at the base of the machine. It tells us the build year and which parts fit.
Or not doing. Blade wandering, poor finish, hydraulics slow, will not start — plain description is fine.
